Doubles

The Palmetto has always offered doubles.  Players are encouraged to play doubles, especially with the new combined ranking which includes both singles and doubles.

There is only a small additional fee for doubles.

Players must enter with a partner.  The tournament does not match doubles partners.

12’s, 14’s, 16’s & 18’s Doubles:
Some first and second round doubles matches will be played on Wednesday afternoon, June 4.

The doubles finals will be played at the Belton Tennis Center on Sunday afternoon, June 8.  A doubles awards ceremony will follow the finals.

An 8-game pro set will be used through the quarterfinals.  A 7-point tiebreak will be used when games are 8-all. The finals and semifinals will be the best of 3 sets with a 7-point tiebreak used in any set reaching 6-all.

10’s Doubles:
Some first round doubles matches will be played on Thursday afternoon, June 5.

The doubles finals in the 10's will be played at the Anderson Sports & Entertainment Center courts following the singles finals on Sunday morning, June 8.

An 8-game pro set will be used in all rounds.  A 7-point tiebreak will be used when games are 8-all.
