The 2008 Wachovia
Palmetto Championships

The Wachovia Palmetto Championships is open to all boys and girls who are residents of the state of South Carolina (for residency requirements refer to www.sctennis.com, Juniors/Ranking Requirements).  USTA membership is required.  Players must meet one of the following age requirements:

10-and-under born on or after July 1, 1997
12-and-under born on or after July 1, 1995
14-and-under born on or after July 1, 1993
16-and-under born on or after July 1, 1991
18-and-under born on or after July 1, 1989

Players must play in the age division for which they are seeking endorsement to the Southern Closed and National Championships unless they receive a waiver into these events.

Players are limited to one singles and one doubles event. Players must enter doubles with a partner.

Players may confirm their entry by checking the tournament site at www.usta.com. An entry list report will be published beginning April 1.

Due to matches played at different headquarter sites and potential schedule problems:
-10-and-under players are asked not play up in the 12’s Doubles
-12-and-under players are asked not play up in the 14’s, 16’s or 18’s Doubles.
Since these events are played at different locations, playing up may present schedule problems.
